With a theatre on this site since 1732, The Royal Opera House is steeped in centuries of history. The stage has played host to some of the world’s greatest performers from Pavarotti to Callas Nureyev and Fonteyn. More recently Bjork, Snow Patrol and Motorhead have graced our stages.

The iconic Paul Hamlyn Hall can hold up to 1,000 for a reception and 450 theatre style or for a dinner. The Crush room, also boasts original architectural features, and can hold 200 for a reception, 150 theatre style and 120 for a lunch. We also have a flexible modern theatre which can hold 394 guests, a suite of beautiful ballet studios which can hold 50 to 200 for dining and historic Trust rooms which can accommodate 4 to 40 guests.

We have host regular events for Google, London Fashion Week, BUPA and Orange. After a major redevelopment the House now combines elements of the original Victorian theatre with state of the art backstage facilities. As home of world class opera and ballet, the Royal Opera House remains a standard for international excellence.
