The venue is a 1500 person capacity with the ability to house large and small parties, offering bespoke spaces throughout its 5 rooms.

The venue was newly refurbished in January 2011, and has a multi-million dollar sound, lighting and AV capabilities accompanied by expert technicians all of which can be available to the hirer.

A leading light for regeneration in the Southwark area since 1991, Ministry of Sound has played a strong role in the local community from the start, employing local residents, providing an event space for the people of Southwark, and championing local causes.

It has housed a variety of events such as music led parties, film shoots, fashion shows, conferences, award ceremonies, dance competitions, exhibitions, 3-course sit down dinners, team building exercises, cocktail parties and Christmas parties for clients such as the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, DJ Mag, Vodafone, Diesel, Google to Wagamama, Myspace, Warner Bros, BT, DJ Mag, Feathers Assoc, Capital VIP , Crimestoppers, Arts London, Queen Mary University and several more universities and charities across London.

The borough’s MP, Simon Hughes, and Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, have also visited the venue in recent times, as well as many celebrity visitors at the successful weekend nights, including Jade Jagger, Caprice and Natalie Vodianova.

We are available for hire from Sun to Thurs and Friday/Saturday during the day till 10pm.
