Renowned chef Philippe Brillant, former Executive Chef to the Saudi Royal Family and former supplier to Heston Blumenthal, has launched a unique events, corporate training and meetings concept by encouraging business teams to thrive at the office by getting them cooking at his restaurant Le Parisien in Henley upon Thames.

Already a key venue for the Henley Fringe and Henley Literary Festivals, Le Parisien offers a choice of three types of cookery courses, tailored to individual skill level and cooking ability and using only local and the freshest ingredients. The team building events comprise learning basic to more advanced skills, preparing specific dishes and sampling their delicious efforts as a group. Prices range from £50-£195 per person, depending on the type and size of class. For a large group cooking demonstration, Philippe can host up to 60 people at a cost of £65 per head that includes a two-course lunch. The Women’s Institute recently enjoyed a cookery demonstration.

In addition, Le Parisien offers event organisers a daily delegate rate which starts from £40 and includes the hire of the elegantly decorated Pavilion Room, which is light and airy with large French windows leading onto a private garden terrace; an ideal location for meetings, cocktail parties and private events. Coffee/tea and viennoiseries on arrival, mid-morning coffee/tea and biscuits, two-course lunch with coffee, mid-afternoon coffee/tea and biscuits and free Wi-Fi access are all included.
